Kids injured by pool chemicals at Maryland camp

Possible chlorine exposure at a Maryland camp sent dozens of kids to the hospital.

The children complained of nausea and vomiting at Camp Letts YMCA in Edgewater, Maryland.

Officials say 13 kids suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and 13 have minor injuries.

There was a total of 35, 31 kids and 4 adults treated for “exposure to sodium hyperchlorite and muriatic acid after a mechanical error with the pool’s filtration system,” according to ABC 2.
