Work Scheduled between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday –
PennDOT maintenance crews will be making repairs on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 15 and 16, to a parallel drainage pipe along northbound Interstate 83 in southeastern Cumberland County, just north of the Yellow Breeches Creek. Motorists are advised that northbound I-83 will be restricted to a single lane between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on each day. I-83 is heavily travelled and significant traffic backups and travel delays are anticipated due to this single-lane traffic restriction. Motorists may want to consider seeking alternate routes and allowing additional time in their travel plans in order to avoid delays. Motorists are also asked to be alert to this operation and to slow down when approaching and traveling through the work zone, for their safety as well as for the safety of the work crews.
