Man, 66, killed in Salisbury Twp. crash

A Lancaster man was killed Saturday night when his vehicle crashed along Route 30 in Salisbury Township.

The wreck happened around 10:18 p.m. along the 5700 block of Lincoln Highway. State police say 66-year-old Elmer Lee Watson, of Intercourse, was headed east along Route 3o when he lost control of the vehicle and went off the road. The vehicle then hit a tree stump and overturned.

Watson sustained  severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, investigators said.
