A former employee is accused a York County Rutter’s Farm Store. Gage Cathcart, 19, of Manchester, is accused of robbing the Rutter’s at 5305 Susquehanna Trail in Conewago Township at knife point on July 9th. Employees identified Cathcart as the suspect who left the store with some cash after the hold-up.
Northern York County Regional Police Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Cathcart. On July 12th, Cathcart was located in a motel along Route 30. He was taken into custody without incident. Clothing worn during the robbery, as well as the knife were recovered from the motel room.
Cathcart was taken to Central Booking for arraignment on the following charges:
- Robbery
- Theft by Unlawful Taking
- Receiving Stolen Property
- Simple Assault
- Recklessly Endangering Another Person
