The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs inducted 2 new members into its Hall of Fame on Tuesday in Lebanon County.

The new Hall of Fame inductees are Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus Mccaffery of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Senator Lisa Baker of Luzerne county.
THE DMVA Hall of Fame recognizes contributions to the Department and the Pennsylvania National Guard.

“To be included among those individuals who sacrificed and really stepped forward to make things better for the men and women who wear the uniform of service to our country,” Baker said.

Induction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor that can be given to an individual by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

“I’m here right now not just to be honored but to represent so many other great Americans who have served our country who should also be here, probably most of them deserve it more than I do,” Mccaffery said.
