Suspect in Walmart purse snatching sought

State Police are looking for the man they think stole cash from a purse at the Walmart in Chambersburg. The victim’s purse and wallet were in a shopping cart. The suspect picked up the purse when the victim wasn’t paying attention, took the cash and then discarded the purse and wallet in another aisle. The suspect then fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’6-510”, and 170lbs. He is believed to be in his mid 20’s. Police say he may be responsible for a similar crime about a month ago.

    At any point while he was walking in front of that camera, did he look in the direction he was moving? Seeing his face would be of utmost assistance.
