A father and son from York County have been charged in connection to a third murder-for-hire plot.
Gregory Hess, 47, of Seven Valleys, was charged with Solicitation to Commit Criminal Homicide, Criminal Conspiracy to Criminal Homicide and Criminal use of communication facility. Investigators say Hess attempted to have a confidential informant murdered. Hess remains in York County Prison on $20 million dollars bail.
Last night, the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Toby Hess, 19, of Spring Grove, and charged him with Solicitation to Commit Criminal Homicide, Criminal Conspiracy to Criminal Homicide and Criminal use of communication facility. Mr. Hess was arraigned, posted $100,000 bail and is currently on house arrest.
A third person has also been charged in the case. Deonsae Bryant, 29, of York, has been charged with Solicitation to Commit Criminal Homicide, Criminal Conspiracy to Criminal Homicide and Criminal use of communication facility. Investigators say Bryan accepted payment from Gregory Hess in order to kill the confidential informant. Bryant remains in York County Prison.
