Motorcyclist faces list of charges after twice fleeing police

A motorcyclist faces a list of charges after fleeing police in Cumberland County twice over the weekend.  In the first incident police attempted to stop Dale Werntz, of Shermans Dale, for speeding and not having a visible license plate. Werntz fled at a high rate of speed. His pursuit was called off.

Several minutes later Werntz was spotted again and again he sped away. This time however he fled into a dead end. The pursuit ended when he lost control in grass and laid the motorcycle down. He was taken into custody by Silver Spring Township Police without further incident.

Charges against Werntz include Fleeing and Eluding, Reckless Driving and Altered or Forged Plates.
