Harrisburg police have identified a suspect that was wanted in a string of robberies, including one that happened Friday night.

Police say Benjamin Palmer was arrested Saturday morning after he was identified by witnesses as the suspect who entered the Hess Gas Station with a knife and demanded money. The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Friday night along the 1100 block of Market Street.

According to police, Palmer was also identified by police as a suspect in robberies that occurred at Family Dollar on June 22 and July 12, and also in a Rite Aid robbery on June 23.

Palmer was taken into custody in the area of the 1400 block of Zarker Street on Saturday morning without incident. He is being charged with Robbery, aggravated assault, terrorist threats, and possession of a weapon.
