Two York County men die following a crash involving their van and a pickup on Route 30 early Tuesday afternoon. The victims are identified as Jerry Eady, 36 and Jack Mason III, 52, both of West Manchester Township.

According to the coroner’s office, the victims were among four people traveling westbound on Route 30 in a white working van when their van clipped the back end of  apickup.  The van went out of control and rolled over and down an embankment ejecting Eady and Mason.  It happened near the Hellam exit.  Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. The other van occupants were rushed to a local hospital. The driver of the pickup escaped injury.

Autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday on both victims to determine exact cause of death. Traffic along Route 30 near the Hellam exit was slowed for hours for crash reconstruction investigators.
