HOT & STORMY: A cold front today will bring showers and thunderstorms as the day turns to evening. Ahead of the front, hot air surges into the state. Expect highs in the low 90s with a good deal of humidity. Showers and storms fill in for the evening drive. Some storms may produce damaging winds, so stay alert. Most storms fade late into the overnight. Lows drop to the middle and upper 60s.
DRIES OUT: High pressure moves in to help clear out the rain and then the clouds for Thursday. First and early rain fades and then we lose the clouds. As sun returns, drier and cooler air mixes into the region. Highs Thursday will only make it to near 80°. Friday, we’re dry and mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Enjoy the comfy air!
WEEKEND: Saturday is another mostly sunny day. We’re a tad warmer with highs in the middle 80s. A wave of energy nears and a few storms could fire late in the day and into the overnight. Sunday, a developing upper level low begins to spiral in. This will begin a periods of unsettled weather. Clouds with showers and storms are possible with temperatures in the middle 80s. This pattern looks to continue for the start of the work week.
Here’s to a wonderful Wednesday!
