A man has been arrested on suspicion of setting fire to a church in East Cocalico Township on July 10, authorities confirmed Wednesday.

Police say Robert L. Bean, 65, who is currently in Lancaster County Prison, was charged with arson for his alleged role in the fire.

Fire broke out at the Reamstown Church of God located at 400 Pfautz Hill Road on July 10.

Police determined the fire seemed suspicious in nature, and called in investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police and ATF. Ultimately, arson investigators determined the fire was set intentionally.

Bean’s bail has been set at $250,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 29.
