Lancaster City Police arrest the driver of a car in a police involved shooting on July 11.  Investigators had a warrant for Jordan Torres-Litwin, 20, of Lancaster charging him with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer, Duties at a Stop Sign, he allegedly ran three stop signs, and Driving Without a License.

Torres-Litwin was allegedly behind the wheel of a black 2011Hyundai Sonata sedan attempted to stop for an equipment violation in the area of Brandon Park. A subsequent chase ended with the shooting of Richard Rivera, Jr., 18 after he pointed a handgun at police.  Rivera suffered a gunshot wound to his buttocks. Rivera was a passenger in the Sonata.  The Lancaster County District Attorney ruled the officer involved shooting of Rivera was justified.

The Hyundai was found abandoned the day after the shooting  in Lancaster Township. Torres-Litwin was arrested without incident last week. Following arraignment he was released after posting $50,000 bail.
