A multi-vehicle accident has slowed traffic along Route 222 in Manheim Township, Lancaster County.
It happened around 7:40 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 222 between Exit: PA 772 BROWNSTOWN/ROTHSVILLE and Exit: US 30 WEST/PA 283 WEST/US 222 SOUTH – YORK/HBG.
All southbound lanes are closed at this time, according to PennDOT.
There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
