Lebanon County Commissioners

The Lebanon County Commissioners took a field trip on Thursday to the Lebanon Area Fair to see what’s behind the event.

The commissioners took the time to speak to those that organize the fair, checked out all the new attractions, learned how much Turkey Hill ice cream it takes to make the famous fair milkshakes.

Commissioner Jo Ellen Litz says this agricultural event is a great way to support the area.

“I’m proud to be from Lebanon County, and farming is our biggest industry, so as a part of Lebanon County, it’s good to support the farmers,” Litz said.

The fair started last weekend and runs through Saturday August 2nd. A few event happening tonight (July 31st) include the children’s egg and spoon race, the pipe eating contest, and some pony rides.
