York County Police Corporal killed in Texas

A York County police department is mourning the loss of a fellow officer.
Corporal Michael Georgiou, with the York Area Regional Police Department was killed in an ATV accident in Texas Sunday morning.
Georgiou, a Texas native, was there visiting friends, when he went out for a ride on the 4-wheeler.
When he didn’t return, his friends went out to find him.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the ATV rolled and Georgiou was thrown off, landing in a ditch. He died from his injuries.
Corporal Georgiou was a member of the York Area Regional Police Department since 2003 he was also an Army veteran and professional cowboy. He was 35-years old.
