A person living in Paradise Township made a startling discovery on July 30, according to the Northern York County Regional Police Department. A property owner found what appeared to be a human foot in a field along Orchard Road.
But investigators say it wasn’t human.
The remains were taken to a forensic pathologist at Mercyhurst College in Erie for further examination.
The pathologist determined that the foot was actually a bear’s paw, police said.
Needless to say–the investigation was closed.
