THIS EVENING: A beautiful evening under way. Clouds are finally breaking up and clearing allowing for temps to spike late in the day. We’ll drop from around 80 degrees to the lower 70’s later this tonight.

Evening Forecast

MORNING: Patchy fog possible otherwise, it will be a mostly sunny start with lows in the low to mid 60s.

AM Metrovision

TOMORROW: Plenty of sunshine with a few more clouds as we head further into the day. There will also be a chance for a few showers or thunderstorms as a cold front approaches towards the late afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be much warmer in the mid to upper 80’s but the warm up will be brief.

Hour by Hour

OUTLOOK:  Upper level trough digs in for Wednesday and Thursday allowing for cooler, drier air to spill in. Highs both days return to the low 80s and with colder air and energy aloft, clouds will billow up along with a few scattered showers and a rumble for Wednesday with a small stray shower for Thursday. We are on the back side of the trough along with more sunshine as high pressure strengthens at the surface for Friday. It will still be cooler with highs in the lower 80’s. Saturday the ridge builds over head and the surface high remains in control providing several days of dry, quiet weather. Highs will range from the lower 80’s to the middle 80’s through Monday with plenty of sunshine each day.

TROPIC UPDATE: The National Hurricane Center is tracking our second named storm of the season. Hurricane Bertha continues is now moving north just east along the Bahamas’s then the Carolina’s. Forecast still shows it curving away and out to see in the upcoming days.
