A truck driver from Texas was killed when he was caught between his trailer and another truck Monday morning. It happened at the Allen Distribution warehouse in South Middleton Township. Roger Fortune, 56, of Garland, Texas, was opening the trailer doors in the loading dock area. Another truck, driven by Mohamud Shil of South Sioux City, Nebraska, pulled in behind Fortune. When Shil hit his air parking brake, his truck kept rolling because the air supply was not fully applied, according to a release from State Police. Fortune was pinned between Shil’s truck and his own trailer. Fortune was taken to Hershey Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
State Police are investigating the accident.
