Someone who stopped by Karns in Dauphin County on Tuesday and bought a Cash 5 ticket is due a lot of cash!

Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced that a jackpot-winning Cash 5 ticket worth $325,000 was sold on Tuesday at the store along the  6000 of Allentown Boulevard in Lower Paxton Township.

The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before Lottery officials can identify the winner, according to a news release.

The ticket correctly matched all five balls– 6-11-15-22-25.

The lottery withholds 25 percent of the winnings for federal taxes, and the store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Lottery officials recommend that the winner sign the back of their ticket and contact the agency to file a claim.

To play Cash 5, players pay $1 and select five numbers from 1 to 43.

Players can win prizes for matching two, three or four winning numbers. More than 41,400 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes of various amounts in Saturday’s drawing.

The odds of winning the jackpot prize are 1-in-962,598. The game’s odds of winning any prize are about 1-in-10.5. The Cash 5 drawing is held nightly.
