Cumberland County gets a new Walmart

A new Walmart opened on Wednesday in Cumberland County.

The Cedar Cliff High School Marching Band played outside the new store in Camp Hill to mark the grand opening.

About 200 people will work at the store in full-time and part-time jobs.

The store manager says shoppers in Camp Hill will now have a place for one-stop-shopping at the new superstore.

“I can get fresh produce, go to electronics and buy a move, stop in hardware and get a ladder… anything I need. So, really it brings that one-stop shop experience,” Chad Roeting said.

Walmart in Camp Hill will be open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
