A cold front slowly moving through the region brings a chance for some showers and thunderstorms Wednesday. It’s mainly dry through the morning hours, with just a spot shower or two possible. There are some foggy and hazy spots to start as well. Early to mid afternoon is the best chance for some showers and thunderstorms. A few storms could produce some gusty winds. Drying and clearing takes place late in the day. Otherwise, it’s a mostly cloudy day with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. High pressure builds in overnight. This brings mostly clear skies and less humidity. Lows are in the 50s to lower 60s.
High pressure remains in control for the rest of the workweek. Expect some clouds on Thursday, otherwise it’s a nice summer day. Friday brings more by way of sunshine. Highs are in the upper 70s to lower 80s both days.
DRY FOR NOW
High pressure looks like it continues to hold strong over the region through the weekend. This means we should stay dry with a fair amount of sunshine. Temperatures continue to run slightly below seasonable averages. Saturday brings lower to middle 80s. Sunday, temperatures fall slightly again into the upper 70s to lower 80s. Monday expect a mixture of clouds and sunshine as high pressure begins to fade away. Tuesday our next frontal system brings the chance for showers and thunderstorms.
Have a great Wednesday!
