More clouds for the weekend

Saturday is another day with temperatures below averages.

A dominant area of high pressure to our north is bringing fantastic weather to the area, and these evening will be no exception. Temperatures fall through the 70s and into the 60s during the evening. The overnight period brings some passing clouds. It’s another cool and comfortable night. Lows are in the 50s to near 60 degrees.

High pressure keeps us mainly dry on Saturday.

Moisture tries to creep up from the south, but high pressure works to keep us dry. As it shifts out to sea, it keeps us mainly dry despite clouds creeping in from the south through the day. There’s only the chance for an isolated shower or two, but that’s mainly to the south and southwest. Expect more sunshine to the north and northeast. Sunday brings more clouds, and still an isolated shower chance. Again, there will be plenty of dry time through the weekend. Highs are in the upper 70s to lower 80s through the weekend.

Monday the clouds stick around ahead of our next system, but it’s a dry day for the area. Tuesday showers and thunderstorms work into the area as our next system crosses through. Some lingering showers are possible Wednesday. By Thursday and Friday, skies are dry, but there will be a fair amount of clouds as well. Highs will hover near 80 degrees through next week.

Have a great weekend!
