Suspect turns himself in for stabbing a man in Lancaster

Police in Lancaster were called to the 200 block of West Strawberry Street near Farnum park  just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday for reports of a stabbing.

When police arrived on scene they found a man suffering from a stab wounds to his upper and lower torso. The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries police said.

Police continued to investigate the incident when 30-year-old Maurice Andrew Swann voluntarily came to the police station and admitted to the stabbing.

Swann was interviewed by police and now faces charges of one count of aggravated assault and one count tampering or fabricating physical evidence.
