FALL FRIDAY: It’s another cool, below average day today in the Commonwealth. Highs on this Friday only hit the middle 70s, well below the average highs which sit in the middle 80s. We’re mostly sunny to start with passing clouds this afternoon. Evening plans may be a bit cool, so dress appropriately for outdoor plans to fight the “fall chill” as temps fall to the 60s again. Overnight, we do low to middle 50s.
WEEKEND: Saturday is another good looking day. Mostly sunny skies prevail as highs top out near 80° with little humidity. We look to stay dry during the day. Sunday, a fast paced low pressure system dives in. Temps are up a tad, humidity is back, clouds are back, and so it the chance for rain. Expect showers and storms for a few hours during the day, but most of the day looks dry. This tapers by night.
BEACH: The beach forecast shows a nice, warm, sunny trip along the coast from the Jersey to Maryland shores. Highs are near 80° on Friday and Saturday and closer to the mid 80s for Sunday. We’re mostly sunny this weekend, but on Sunday more clouds fill in with an uptick in shower & thunderstorm chances. Water temps are in the middle 70s with 2-4ft waves. Have a fun trip!
NEXT WEEK: A slow moving system will shift toward the state with limited push form upper levels. So it looks mostly cloudy and seasonably warm for most of the week. Highs will hit the low and middle 80s. We’ll see scattered showers and storms for midweek but the timing and significance are still to be determined. More to come.
Have an awesome weekend folks!
