Crews worked to put out a fire early Wednesday morning in York City. It happened in the 100 block of North Belvidere Ave. shortly before 2:30am. Fire officials tell FOX43 that they have ruled the fire as arson. They say it started on the first floor of 118 North Belvidere and spread to the second floor. Fire officials say there have been several arson fires in downtown within the past few weeks. Many of them only a few blocks from each other. Fire officials say right now they’re investigating each arson as a separate case, but that they are looking into the possibility of them being related.
