Seaworld has decided it will not fight a court ruling that bans trainers from getting into the water with the parks’ killer whales.
The ruling came after a female trainer died in a drowning in Orlando in 2010.
Seaworld had considered appealing the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court, arguing that the closeness of trainers and orcas is vital to the popularity of their whale shows.
But the court majority ruled it is just too dangerous for orcas to be closely interacting with trainers.
