Tornado Warning for parts of Cumberland, Perry counties

A Tornado Warning is in effect until 4:00 pm for North Central Cumberland and Southern Central Perry counties.

At 3:36 pm Doppler Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous storm was located over Colonel Denning State Park, moving southeast at 25 mph.

Locations impacted include Carlisle, Plainfield, Colonel Denning State Park and Bloserville. Take cover, move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows, If you are in a mobile home or outdoors move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
