Elderly woman dies in Fairview Township crash

FAIRVIEW TWP., Pa. (WPMT)- An elderly  woman died Sunday after a two-vehicle accident in Fairview Township.

The York County Coroner's office identified the woman as 81-year-old Lottie Traver. Traver was driving a vehicle when she made a left-hand turn into the path of another car along Lewisberry Road near Front Street, according to Coroner Pam Gay.

The wreck happened around 9 a.m. Traver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Gay said.

The investigation is ongoing.
