33 cows stolen from 2 Franklin County farms

State police are investigating two unusual cases after 33 cattle were stolen from two separate farms in Franklin County last week.

Between Aug. 20 and Aug. 21 someone stole 18 cows from a farm along the 4900 block of Quarry Road in St. Thomas Township, troopers said. Several tools were also reported missing from the barn.

The following day–another 15 cows were taken from a farm along the 7300 block of Stonebridge Road in Antrim Township. The cows weigh approximately 1,200 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding either case is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg at 717-264-5161.

1 bull

14 bred heifers

9 Holstein Cows

9 Jersey Cows
