Authorities arrested a man Wednesday who they say fired shots at probation officers while in the 1400 block of Vernon Street in Harrisburg.
Franklyn Tavares-Gonzalez, 25, of Harrisburg, is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and firing a weapon in the city.
According to police reports, Tavares-Gonzalez followed the probation officers in a vehicle and fired several shots at them around 9:06 p.m.
Investigators found the vehicle in the area of South 17th and Berry Hill Streets and recovered the gun. Tavares-Gonzalez was taken into custody.
Police said no shots were fired by any of the law enforcement officers involved in the incident.
