A Cumberland County man is charged with DUI early Monday morning, and then with Criminal Trespass hours later. West Shore Regional Police initiated a stop on a black Toyota SUV in the area of N. 12th and Market Streets at about 12:33 am.  The driver had made a sharp turn onto N 9th Street without using a turn signal in Lemoyne Borough.

Police identified the driver as Jeffrey Scott Amos, of Monroe Township. Amos displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance.  After processing he was released.  His SUV was impounded.

At about 7:55 am police responded to a call of a man and woman attempting a break in at the impound lot of GA Smith Towing at 48 S. 3rd Street.

Officers arriving on scene found Amos and Laura F. Young, of Lemoyne had gained entry to the lot and were getting into Amos SUV, which had been towed there following his DUI arrest.

Amos and Youngblood were both charged with Criminal Defiant Trespass.
