Garden Spot High School Marching Band performs with Fall Out Boy

A local high school band had their shining moment this weekend when they were able to play on stage with popular band "Fall Out Boy."
After the school board banned one of the rock band's songs from the marching band's set list... the controversy turned into the opportunity of a lifetime.

The students made a video asking Fall Out Boy to come to their high school... and after Sunday, it's clear the band heard.
The opportunity came about after bassist Pete Wentz offered for the students to play with his band; and though Fall Out Boy did not make it to Lancaster County, the marching band traveled to Scranton for their moment on stage with the famous group.

Check out the video above for pictures of the performance.

This experience was awesome for both students and parents! I was so proud for my daughters and the rest of the students that performed in front of over 10,000 people. As Lizzy Dorsheimer said, “this was EPIC!”
