For neighbors who live on North Lime Street in Lancaster a homicide is not the norm. "Overall it's a very calm, very residential neighborhood," said resident Alisa Bergen. However things were far from calm when police found a man dead in a house in the 800 block of North Lime around 2 a.m. Wednesday. The call initially came in as a cardiac arrest, but when police got there they discovered the man with traumatic injuries to his body. Investigators haven't said how the man was injured. Police are also not releasing his identity until they can notify the man's family.
Yecenia Rosario has lived across the street for about six years and watched as investigators canvassed the neighborhood. She said she's never seen anything like this and hopes her four children won't either. "They play out here every day. Once they get out of school, on the weekends, riding their bikes back and forth down the block so it's scary," said Rosario.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lancaster police
