York City juvenile shooting victim charged for giving police phony name


York City Police charge a juvenile victim in last Monday evening’s shooting along the 800 block of West Princess Street with Providing False Information to Law Enforcement.

The 17 year old male was shot in the leg during the exchange of gunfire. Investigators say the juvenile gave a false name. It was discovered after he was receiving treatment at the hospital.  The juvenile is also currently on probation for unrelated offenses.

Another juvenile and an 18 year old female suffered gunshot wounds in the shooting.  So far no arrests in the case.
