CLOUDS RETURN: The comfy, mild air from Sunday spills over today, but clouds fill in as we move through the day. Expect highs in the middle to upper 70s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. A southeasterly breeze kicks around today. Tonight, we’re overcast with drizzle developing as we cool down to near 60°. Tuesday, expect an overcast day with damp air and drizzle. A stray few showers may pass at times. It’s cooler as highs struggle to hit the lower 70s.
MIDWEEK STORMS: Our next system races toward us from the west for midweek. Expect mostly cloudy skies Wednesday, with highs nearing 80°. Thursday, we warm up to the low and middle 80s depending on how much sun we get ahead of the approaching cold front. Then, showers and thunderstorms are likely as we progress through the afternoon and into the evening. The storms end overnight and much cooler and drier air slips in for Friday. Expect highs in the middle 70s under partly cloudy skies.
WEEKEND: The weekend looks to be a cool one. Highs are only near 70° under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies at times. For now, we’ll keep it dry, but some models hint at some rain. More details as we move closer to the weekend.
