During a Monday afternoon news conference, Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick says it could be up to three weeks before his report is completed in the death of 9 year old Jarrod N. Tutko, Jr.

The young boy was found dead at his Green Street home in Harrisburg on Friday evening, August 1.  He had been dead for several days. His father, Jarrod Tutko, Sr. faces several charges including abuse of a corpse, endangering the welfare of children and concealing the death of a child.

During the news conference Hetrick stated that in his opinion there was child abuse in the case.  He also said that the child’s mother, Kimberly Tutko never claimed the boys’ body.  After not hearing from Tutko in nearly three weeks he had the child’s remains cremated.  The ashes will interred in a county owned cemetery toward the end of the year.
