The man behind the sweetest place on earth is celebrating a big birthday this weekend.
Saturday marks what would have been Milton Hershey's 157th birthday.
The folks in Hershey have several activities lined up to celebrate the milestone.
The celebrations kick off Friday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. A birthday party will be held at ChocolateTown Square. There will be live music reminiscent of Milton Hershey's era. There will also be complimentary cupcakes and Hershey's chocolate bars.
The fun continues Saturday at the Hershey Story Museum. A special Chocolate Lab class will be held to teach children and adults how to make "Celebration Truffles."
There will also be a children's 'Day of Play' where kids can enjoy playing outside with a variety of toys dating back to Milton Hershey's childhood.
