(CNN) — Two Pennsylvania State Police troopers shot late Friday night, one fatally, were ambushed just outside the police barracks in Blooming Grove, Pennsylvania, Commissioner Frank Noonan told reporters.

Investigators were interviewing a "person of interest" Saturday morning, but no arrests had been made, state police spokeswoman Trooper Connie Devens said.

Earlier, Noonan said police had no description of the shooters or any information about the motive. But Noonan said "this attack seems to be directed particularly at the Pennsylvania State Police."

The shooting happened at 10:50 p.m. Friday night.

One trooper died in the shooting. Another was wounded, had surgery and is in stable condition, Noonan said.

He declined to release the identities of either trooper.

Police from New York, New Jersey and throughout the Northeast are assisting in the search for the shooter or shooters, Noonan said.

I honor the brave state troopers who put their lives on the line every day. It saddens me that there are people out there who
are just plain evil. I feel so sorry for the loss of our officer. RIP May God be with his family. ♡♡♡

I wonder what the chances are that Islamists are involved given that they have a 200 acre “camp” in Wayne County that one one seems even interested in checking out nor will the governor return inquiries about?

Greg Do you have the location of this 200 acre Islamist camp? Lots of Jihadist also New Black panther party members , Nation of Islam members killing white people. The local news will report black on white crime but not a peep on national news. Every story needs tweeted with hash tag #Holderchallenge and #Hatecrime

Ms Clift: I do not but you can get that information by calling the Wayne County Sherriffs office. I know that it could be anyone(s) who did this crime but I wanted to let folks know about this “camp” since the governor doesn’t seem to give a crap. One of these “camps” was raided in a western state and shut down (can’t remember which one) by their police forces and it was found to have explosives, ammo, AK’s etc. etc. There is a video Called “Homegrown Jihad” which can be purchased from the Christian Action Network (web search it) which goes into great detail about all this.
