UPDATE: Police have found the woman who was taken from a CVS store in East Hempfield Township early Thursday. Investigators say the woman is okay.

EAST HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (WPMT)-Police are investigating the possible abduction of a woman from a CVS store in East Hempfield Township early Thursday.

According to police, a woman walked into the CVS along the 600 block of Centerville Road around 2:10 a.m. and asked to use the phone. A short time later a man entered the store and forcibly took the woman to a minivan in the parking lot, investigators said. Police do not know if the woman was forced into the van.

At this time authorities are asking for assistance in identifying the woman and man as to check on her well being.

The woman is described as white, approximately 5’3″, 110 pounds with pink hair. She was wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants and is thought to be in her late teens or early 20s.

The suspect is a black or Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’8″, 165 pounds with dark hair, a beard and mustache. He was wearing a dark gray tank top and has a large tattoo on his right shoulder.
