Warming into the weekend

BRIEF COOLING

High pressure sitting directly to our north brings in cooler air for the end of the work week. It’s a chilly morning, with some hazy and foggy spots. Otherwise, expect plenty of sunshine through the day. The clouds do start to build during the afternoon hours, with a shift in flow to the east. Highs reach the upper 60s to lower 70s. Overnight, clouds continue to thicken. An east/southeast flow helps bring in more moisture, so by daybreak expect foggy and drizzly spots. Lows aren’t as chilly, falling into the 50s to near 60 degrees.

WEEKEND WARMING

Warming into the weekend

Saturday morning, the flow turns more southeasterly, allowing the fog and drizzle to lift. Temperatures are quick to rise, with highs gradually creeping upper 70s. Our next shower and thunderstorm chance comes Sunday with an approaching cold front. Expect the rain chances to increase through the afternoon, with high temperatures near 80 degrees.

TEMP SWINGS CONTINUE

The cold front brings another cool burst of air in its wake. This bumps temperatures to near 70 degrees on Monday. It’s a mostly cloudy day, with a sprinkle possible. Tuesday brings more sunshine, but the unseasonably cool temperatures linger. By Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures begin to moderate closer to seasonable averages with more sunshine.

Have a great weekend!
