It's an athletic competition unlike any other.
The "Warrior Games" is an event that uses the power of sport to help wounded and injured service members, both current and former, recover together and get more involved in their communities.
One of those athletes is a Pennsylvania native.
Christopher D'Angelo of Philadelphia and Harry Raduege Jr talked with Fox43 Morning News about the upcoming event and what inspired them to take part.
The "Warrior Games" begin this weekend in Colorado Springs, Colorado and runs until October 4th.
