Qdoba Mexican Grill trashing “extras” fees

Next time you order a burrito at Qdoba Mexican Grill your guacamole is on the house.

The Mexican chain restaurant announced on Friday that its trashing fees for some of its “extras”.

Starting October 14th, guacamole, queso, fajita vegetables, and chile bbq sauce will be free of charge.

The company says it is making the move after receiving complaints from customers who said they felt like they were being nickel and dimed.

Previously  “extras” cost customers anywhere from $1.19 to $1.50 per serving when ordered with a burrito, taco or quesadilla.

    I could make good arguments either way with this one, both from a business owner’s perspective and a consumer’s perspective.
