CLOUDS BUILD
We can expect a chilly and clear start across the region this morning, but that quickly changes. A front out west drifts this way, increasing clouds through the day. It’s a bit breezy and seasonably cool with highs in the middle to upper 60s. Skies are cloudy into the night, with overnight low temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. A few showers are possible late.
WEEKEND SHOWER CHANCES
The front stays stalled through the region leading into the weekend, and this brings the chance for showers on Friday. High temperatures are cool due to the rain, and they hover near the 60 degree mark. High pressure building in from the northwest pushes the stalled boundary a bit to the south, and this clears skies out Saturday afternoon. Temperatures are a little milder, but still below seasonable averages, in the lower to middle 60s. Sunday, another wave of energy pushes back north, bringing the chance for a shower late Sunday and lasting through Monday.
NEXT WEEK
The pattern early next week looks unsettled but mild. There’s a daily shower chance Monday and Tuesday, but currently neither day should be a washout. Highs will be in the upper 60s Monday, and the lower to middle 70s Tuesday. By Wednesday, our next storm system approaches and brings a better chance for showers. Highs are near 70 degrees.
Have a great Thursday!
