Woman charged with arson in Salisbury Township

State police say a mobile home fire that broke out on Friday afternoon at 787 Stonewood Drive in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County is arson.

According to police, 27-year-old Jami Lynne Williams, of Gap, purposely doused a stuffed animal with gasoline inside the home with the intention of destroying the entire structure.

Williams left the home after lighting the fire police said, leaving it unoccupied.

Police took Williams into custody around 7p.m. Friday and charged her with one felony count of both arson and criminal mischief.

Williams is currently in Lancaster County Prison. Estimated damage of the home is estimated at $10,500.
