Officials say one person was killed Friday night in a mobile home fire in Lancaster County.
The fire started around 7:30pm, and was burning awhile until a neighbor saw flames. One firefighter was injured while he was attempting to rescue the man inside. His injuries were non life threatening, and he was released and went back to fighting the fire an hour later.
The fire started at the Hinden Homes Mobile Home Park in the Denver area of East Cocalico Township.
"It had a good start on us, it was a well involved fire when we got here our guys did an extremely good job at knocking it down, I'm not sure the outcome would have been any different," Reamstown Fire Chief Scott Achey said.
State Police and the fire marshal are investigating the cause of the fire. The victim has not been identified.
