DERRY TOWNSHIP (WPMT)-Police have issued an arrest warrant for a New York man accused of making fraudulent withdrawals at a bank in Derry Township.

Authorities said Christopher Barnett, 19, of Pellam, N.Y., is accused of  impersonating a PNC bank customer to take money out of the customer’s account.

According to police, Barnett impersonated a bank customer on Aug. 2 and withdrew over $7,000 from the victim’s bank account.

Barnett managed to withdraw the money from the victim’s bank account because he had the victim’s personal information and also presented photo identification purporting to be the victim, police said.

Anyone with information on Barnett’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 717-534-2202.
