Officers responded to an area near the  Belmont Club along first block of West 11th Avenue for reports of shots being fired around 2:46 a.m.  A large group of people were seen fleeing the area when investigators arrived at the scene, authorities said.

According to police, Cordero-Cruz fired several shots in the parking lot of the club and in the parking lot of a nearby business. Investigators found 15 shell casings at the scene.

Cordero-Cruz was arrested in the parking lot of the Lafayette Center. Officers searched his vehicle and found a gun that was reported stolen from East Hempfield Township in Lancaster County.
