Black Friday is just a few weeks away. The unofficial holiday is known for shopping and good deals. Back by popular demand, a local brewing company is once again making their Black Friday beer.

It's called the bargain hunter's beer, or Black Friday IPA. Appalachian Brewing Company created the craft beer last year to lure in shoppers.

"It went really well for us last year. It was exactly the boost we needed on what's typically kind of a slow day," said Mike Parker, Marketing Manager for Appalachian Brewing Company.

Appalachian Brewing Company invited FOX43 for brewing day. Watch as FOX43's Melissa Nardo helps brew up a batch of their Black Friday IPA.

"There’s a lot of science involved in the whole brewing process; a lot of it is chemistry. You’re converting things and there's also a lot of fluid mechanics," said Brewer Michael Lindgren.

Black Friday IPA will be available starting Black Friday. The beer will have a one-day, $2.50 price tag.
