GREENCASTLE, Pa.(WPMT) The M&T Bank branch in Greencastle Borough is robbed for the second time in a little more than week. Just after 10 am, a man armed with a handgun walked into the bank at 643 E. Baltimore Street and demanded money.
He got away with some cash. A Greencastle Police Department K-9 tracked the suspect to an area of an unknown waiting vehicle. Borough police were assisted in a massive search by Mercersburg and Washington Township police and the Franklin County Sheriffs Department, but the suspect managed to elude capture.
Police released a bank surveillance photo showing the suspect is a white male, who was wearing an orange hoodie, a baseball cap and sun glasses.
The same bank was robbed just nine days ago on October 22 in the same manner.
